Architect & Managing Director
Born in Athens, Alexandra moved to the UK in 2005 to pursue her passion for architecture, graduating from the University of Liverpool before qualifying as an architect. Her experience spans residential masterplanning, social housing, high-end private residences and commercial projects. She brings strategic thinking and creative problem-solving to every project, ensuring they are both carefully considered and commercially realistic. Alongside leading the business, Alexandra oversees the systems and collaborative relationships that underpin delivery, maintaining clarity, coordination and accountability across design and construction.

Richard Powell
Heating Engineer & Project Director
Richard leads the delivery of our construction projects from pre-start through to completion.
Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, he spent 17 years in the south-east of England developing his career in heating engineering and project management before returning to Staffordshire. His technical background and hands-on experience give him a strong understanding of how buildings perform in practice. Richard oversees site operations, programme management and quality control, ensuring construction aligns precisely with the design intent. His practical mindset and attention to detail bring realism and accountability to every project.

Apollon Powell
Future CEO
Apollon is the youngest member of the Powell team and a familiar presence in the studio. With a natural curiosity about design and construction, he is developing an early interest in how buildings are imagined, detailed and delivered.
Growing up around architectural models and building sites, he is learning first-hand the importance of craftsmanship, responsibility and taking pride in your name.

Edward Daniels
Senior Architect
Edward is a Chartered RIBA Architect with a strong focus on technical design and build-ability. He develops clear, well-considered architectural solutions that translate concepts into practical, deliverable buildings. With a detailed understanding of construction, building performance and regulatory compliance, he takes a pragmatic and methodical approach to problem-solving. He leads the architectural team in ensuring projects are thoroughly coordinated and technically resolved before construction begins, helping protect both design integrity and cost certainty.

Teresa Montero
Architect & Interior Designer
Teresa brings refined design thinking and meticulous attention to detail to our residential projects.With experience across architecture and interiors, she carefully considers spatial flow, proportion and materiality to create spaces that feel cohesive, functional and beautifully resolved. Her approach ensures continuity from the architectural concept through to the final layers of detailing. Teresa is currently on maternity leave and will be returning to the studio later this year. Her contribution remains an important part of the design direction of the practice.

Finlay Cousins
Project Coordinator
An Architecture graduate from Staffordshire University, Finlay brings a strong design foundation to his role within the team. He liaises closely with clients, suppliers, and the construction team, coordinating information and ensuring projects move forward in a clear and organised way. From issuing updates to tracking budgets and timelines, Finlay supports the successful delivery of each project. Building on his architectural background, he is transitioning into project management, developing the skills required to oversee projects from concept through to completion. His methodical approach and attention to detail strengthen coordination across the business.

Susie Flynn
Office Manager
Susie oversees the day-to-day operations while continuing to lead our finance administration. She plays a key role in maintaining the smooth internal running of the business, supporting the wider team and ensuring processes remain clear and consistent. Susie manages invoicing, payment schedules and financial tracking with precision and transparency, ensuring clients have clear visibility of their project finances. Her organised and detail-focused approach provides the operational foundation that supports both design and construction delivery.

Lucas Griffin
Architectural Assistant
Lucas joins the team as a placement student from the University of Derby, contributing to the development of design proposals across a range of residential projects. He supports the preparation of 3D visualisations, layout studies and early-stage research, helping to communicate spatial ideas clearly and effectively. Through mood-boards and design exploration, Lucas assists in shaping the visual direction of projects during concept development. He continues to develop his technical knowledge while contributing positively to the collaborative studio environment.

Dianne Smith
Customer Relationship Manager
Dianne is the first point of contact for potential clients, ensuring every initial interaction is handled professionally and promptly. She manages incoming enquiries, coordinates early-stage information and supports the smooth onboarding of new projects, helping ensure each opportunity is assessed carefully and progresses in a structured and considered way. Working closely with the wider team, she supports internal coordination and administration, helping maintain organised documentation and consistent processes across the business. Her role helps ensure projects begin on strong foundations and that the team remains supported behind the scenes.

Codie Palethorpe
Property Maintenance Apprentice
Codie supports the construction team across a range of projects, assisting with site preparation, maintenance works and general trade support. He spends one day per week at a local college developing practical skills across multiple trades, building a broad technical foundation that strengthens his on-site contribution. This hands-on training allows him to gain real-world experience while progressing through his formal qualification. As he develops, Codie is working towards a future pathway in site supervision and management, growing within the structured delivery side of the business.

Laura Mills
Architectural Assistant
Laura has a background in art and a strong interest in illustration, bringing creativity and clarity to her work within the studio. She supports concept development through hand sketching, visual exploration and the preparation of design material that helps communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Her perspective enhances the way proposals are refined internally and presented to clients, contributing to the early stages of shaping each project. Laura is currently completing her studies at Loughborough University and remains part of the extended Powell team.
