This live project involves the careful renovation and extension of a 200-year-old cottage in Staffordshire, combining a new vaulted kitchen extension with a full transformation of the existing home, to create a more practical and energy-efficient home.

Our team is delivering both the architectural design, construction work, and full interior design for the property, ensuring the new spaces feel cohesive while still respecting the character and history of the original cottage.

The works so far have included a complete reconstruction of the ground floor with new external insulation, damp-proofing measures, and underfloor heating throughout, significantly improving the home's comfort and energy performance.

The new kitchen extension replaces the old conservatory, with vaulted ceiling and improved natural light, carefully designed to complement the scale and proportions of the existing cottage. Material selections throughout the project have been chosen to balance durability and everyday practicality with the traditional character of the property.
