In practice, it looks like this: we start with the design and shaping of the space, develop a considered landscape scheme, then pull all materials together internally so everything is aligned before we ever get to site. From there, our build team takes over and delivers the project on the ground, staying true to the original design intent.

This approach gives clients a clearer process, more consistent quality, and fewer delays. It also means one point of contact throughout – rather than trying to coordinate between different landscape designers, suppliers and contractors.

We’ve recently won a new landscaping project, Doval Gardens in Staffordshire, which is the first full example of this way of working.

What started as early client ideas, from homeowners who visited us at our offices in Stoke-on-Trent, has developed into a fully formed landscape design, and we’re now preparing all materials in-house ahead of construction starting on 1st June. It’s a good example of how the design and build process works much more fluidly when everything is integrated from the start.
